	My babies are my JOY! Taking a break from work Little about me I work at the naval air base Oceana, Virginia beach as a dental technician. The field of dental was something that never crossed my mind as a child but it has come to be an interesting field, helping people restore their smiles. I enjoy working and helping people, a warm feeling comes over me when I get to see the joy in those that I helped which in a way has prompt me to pursue my life time career goal in Nursing.   Right now I am a mother of two, a wife, a fulltime worker and a student. I have always had an interest in registered nursing. After high school I joined the navy served my country proudly for five years. During those five years, I met the love of life and started a family. After separating from the service I made a decision to follow my dream career to be a Registered Nurse. So I stared taking college classes for the first time at Tidewater community college, I was definitely nervous to get started but I am proud of the little I have accomplished in the past year and the step I have taken. At times things are hard, trying to juggle school, the kids, house work and family time but I keep telling myself that "I am strong" and "I can do this". Finally, I owe all the thanks to GOD for giving me the strength everyday to continue thru the path of becoming a Registered Nurse with a BSN.
